Meiji EMZ-5 Binocular Stereo Zoom on Acrobat Microscope Stand with Fluorescent Ring Illuminator

The Meiji EMZ-5 Stereo Zoom Body provides crisp, excellent high resolution images. With the supplied .5x supplemental lens the magnification range is 3.5x to 22.5x and can be doubled with 20x eyepieces. (not included but can be added as an accessory) The Acrobat stand, with outstanding flexibility is easy to position with adjustable tension levers and swings out of the way (and locked) when not in use. Built-in headrest reduces fatigue and neck and back strain. Other types of microscope stands can be difficult to adjust, hard to move around and they are not as sturdy as the well designed Acrobat stand.

The Acrobat stand weighs 19 lbs. The 6" x 4" heavy steel base can has four mounting holes for attaching to a work surface (4 wood screws are supplied) or can be held in place with C-clamps (not supplied) if you don't want to drill holes in your bench. The Acrobat stand has a steel rod mounted on the base that measures 24" long. The Acrobat can be set on that rod in any position from a low of 7-3/4" to a maximum height of 25" (measured from the center of the mounting ring). When fully compressed, the arm including microscope mounting ring is 16-1/4" deep. In the fully extended position, the arm including microscope mounting ring is 33-1/4".
