Meiji EMZ-8U Binocular Zoom Stereo Head with Top Light Port, 0.7x - 4.5x Zoom Range

The Meiji EMZ-8U Binocular Zoom Stereo Head is a versatile stereo microscope head designed for high-contrast, high-resolution observation in precision inspection and imaging applications. Featuring a 0.7X–4.5X zoom range and a 6.5:1 zoom ratio, the EMZ-8U provides smooth, parfocal observation throughout the entire zoom range.

The EMZ-8U features a special inlet for a single-arm fiber optic light guide, allowing illumination to be directed parallel to the optical path. This top illumination arrangement is particularly useful for observing features that can be difficult to see under conventional oblique incident illumination, including holes, cracks, scratches on metal surfaces, IC chips, and liquid crystal patterns.

Greenough optical design provides improved image flatness and contrast, producing bright, clear images across the field of view. With its broad zoom range and high-resolution observation capabilities, the EMZ-8U is well suited for semiconductor inspection, medical device inspection, precision manufacturing, and routine inspection applications.

The compact and versatile design of the EMZ-8U also allows the system to be customized for different applications. A variety of optional auxiliary lenses and stands are available to provide different magnification ranges and working distances.

Eyepiece Options

Eyepieces are not included with the EMZ-8U microscope head. A variety of optional eyepieces are available, allowing users to configure the microscope according to their required magnification and application.

Top Illumination

The EMZ-8U includes a 12.2mm top light inlet for a single-arm fiber optic light guide. Top illumination requires the FL150/12 fiber optic light guide and FL150/115 power supply.
