The illuminators in our collection of Dolan-Jenner microscope accessories are available with either a 150 watt or LED light source, depending on whether you choose the Fiber-Lite MI-150 or the Fiber-Lite MI-LED model. After you choose which light source you prefer, you can decide between three different light guides: a single or a double, with one or two 23” fiber-optic lights or one 36” annular ring light. The 150-watt bulbs provide around 200 hours of illumination, but the LED bulbs can provide 40,000 hours. That means that, even though the LED illuminators are slightly more expensive, they save you money over time by reducing the need for replacement bulbs.
