A Digital SLR adapter connects a digital SLR camera to a compound or stereo microscope's trinocular photo port. Generally, the inner diameter is 23mm, with customer sizes available. They consist of an eyepiece (generally 2.5 or 3x) that acts like a lens, a housing where the eyepieces go inside that slips over the photo tube, plus a t mount ring, (specific to the brand and model of the digital slr camera) that connects to the camera and adapter.
