The LABOMED Prima ophthalmic surgical microscope reflects a philosophy of high-performance while delivering modularity to today's healthcare environments that need capital equipment to maximize value. Designed with ease of use and affordability in mind, we’ve created a system that satisfies both criteria. With a bright illumination system, an APOchromatic Gallilean optical system, and fluid articulation for greater flexibility, the PRIMA ophthalmology microscope is a smart choice for today's Ophthalmic specialists.

PRIMA OPH Advantages:

The super bright LED in our ophthalmic operating microscope produces over 80,000 Lux with a color temperature of 5700 degrees Kelvin to produce a natural daylight illumination. It also features a run time of 60,000 hours eliminating the need for a bulb change. Electronics built directly into the swivel arm make the Prima ophthalmic surgical microscope the most compact solution in its class.

The Labomed ophthalmic microscope features an Apochromatic optical system that produces sharp, aberration-free images at every step. Proprietary MaxLite™ coatings promise the highest degree of anti-reflective and anti-scratch properties, yielding artifact free and durable optics.

RedReflex is made possible in the Prima ophthalmology microscope thanks to an ingenious optical design, enabling visualization of an illuminated retina for easy detection of ruptured vessels, arteries, or damage to the optic disc.

Ophthalmologists can use a digital SLR or video camera with this ophthalmic surgical microscope, thanks to a wide selection of adapters available through the ProLine™. A proprietary iVu S5 camera provides an excellent solution with its all-in-one high definition imaging, streaming, and capture options.
