Description

The Accu-Scope EXM-150-DF Darkfield Student Microscope Series is designed for middle and high school science classrooms, combining durable student-friendly construction with darkfield microscopy for enhanced viewing of transparent, unstained specimens.

Darkfield illumination increases contrast by producing a bright specimen against a dark background, helping reveal details that may be difficult to observe using standard brightfield illumination. The included darkfield stop is designed for use with the adjustable iris diaphragm and is most effective with the 4x and 10x objectives.

The EXM-150-DF Series is available in several configurations to accommodate different classroom and teaching requirements. Choose from monocular or dual-view teaching heads, mechanical stages or stages with clips, and models with either three objectives or four objectives including a 100x oil immersion objective.

All models feature a 10x eyepiece, coarse and fine focusing controls, rechargeable LED illumination, a reversed nosepiece, built-in carry handle, and rear cord wrap for convenient classroom use and storage.

Darkfield Note: The included darkfield stop is intended for low-magnification darkfield observation using the 4x and 10x objectives. The higher-power objectives can be used for standard bright-field observation.
