The kit consists of the basic stains to help view different sections of plants, animal, bacteria and protozoa's. Included with the set is a test tube & dropper. The following stains are included:
- HEMATOXYLIN-Particularly good to view thin sections of plant, animal tissue, molds and fungus, etc.
- METHYLENE BLUE-Widely used to view bacteria and tissue. Ideal for viewing your own cheek cells.
- GENTIAN VIOLET-Used to stain plant, animal and protozoa's.
This set should be used with the supervision of an adult. Stains & chemicals are harmful if taken internally. Contact with the skin should be avoided.
