Built to Japanese ISO9001 standards, the MA644 delivers advanced performance for polarizing and geological imaging. Its 160 mm tube lens design provides a numerical aperture of 0.65, a 4.50 mm focal length, and a 0.40 mm working distance. Strain-free construction minimizes spherical aberration which is critical for petrographic samples and mineral interference figures. Lateral and axial chromatic aberrations are corrected across the entire field for crisp, flat, high-contrast images.

This objective uses DIN-standard 0.7965" (20.1 mm) diameter threads, 36 TPI (55° Whitworth), and is compatible with Meiji Techno’s ML9000, ML9400, and ML9700 Series, as well as other infinity-corrected optical systems.

Note: Because objectives are designed to integrate with specific tube lenses, focal lengths, and thread types, always confirm compatibility before interchanging. Note that total magnification depends on the combination of objective, tube lens, and eyepieces.
