Description

The Firefly DE1250 Wireless Endoscope Camera is a special-purpose digital video camera combined with a universal coupler for use with various endoscopic applications. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery enables wireless operation while streaming live video to a computer at up to 30 FPS.

The DE1250 is designed for clinical examination, in-office procedures, patient education, electronic medical records, and medical and veterinary education. Its universal coupler is compatible with standard rigid and flexible endoscopes, making it a versatile imaging solution for multiple clinical applications.

The camera provides 720 x 480 resolution and features a multi-layered glass lens assembly with a 650nm cutoff. The wireless system uses four independent channels and includes software for image and video capture, zoom, freeze, rotation, flipping, and region-of-interest selection.

Endoscope Compatibility

The DE1250 universal coupler is compatible with endoscopes featuring a standard eyepiece. Flexible endoscopes are supported when they have a standard eyepiece and a diameter of 2.7mm or larger.

Software

FireflyPro software supports image and video capture and provides tools including zoom, freeze, resolution adjustment, rotation, flipping, region of interest selection, snapshot capture, and video recording.

The DE1250 is compatible with Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, and Mac OS 10.8 or higher on Intel processors. Captured BMP, JPG, and AVI files can be uploaded to most EMR/EHR systems.

Note: The DE1250 camera cannot be autoclaved or soaked for disinfection. If it may become wet or contaminated during a procedure, a plastic sheath is required.
