The microscope is signed "C. Reichert Wien No. 20802" on the base. Reichert established his business in 1876 in Vienna. Everything is original on the microscope including the two objectives marked C. Reichert Wien No. 3 & No. 7a. There is also a swing out brass condenser, mirror and no stage clips. This microscope was distributed by Richards & Company Ltd that established offices in New York & Chicago.
