This microscope is designed for the younger student and is recommended from grades K-8. It is manufactured with all metal construction. The monocular head rotates 360 degrees and has a 10x eyepiece. DIN 4x, 10x, and 40x glass achromatic optics are on the triple nosepiece. Focusing is done with an easy grip single knob. Locked stage clips are on platform, below the stage is a six hole disc diaphragm for adjusting the light. Included with the microscope are six prepared slides, 2 human, 2 animal and 2 plant. Also included with the microscope is an Accessory Kit. This kit includes 12 plain slides, 2 well (concave slides), 1 plastic box to hold 25 slides, 1 package of cover slips, 1 plastic handle scalpel, 1 pair forceps, 1 plastic dropper and spare bulb. There is a 1 year manufactures warranty and extended 1 year warranty by New York Microscope Company Inc.
