The Meiji 6000 Series Epi-Fluorescent Microscopes are an ideal choice for laboratory and research applications. They feature a computer aided design and ergonomically positioned controls that provide stress free operation, increased efficiency and maximum productivity. Meiji's newly designed ICOS™(Infinity Corrected Optical System) provide superior fluorescent images. The low price of these quality microscopes manufactured in Japan make them a substantial value over other Japanese & German manufactures. The configured models below feature either a Siedentopf binocular or trinocular head. The included eyepieces are Super Widefield 10x High Eyepoint with a 22mm field of view. Included are Semi Apo Fluorescent objectives, F10x, F20x, F40x and F100x. These optics utilize a high light transmission extending into the ultra-violet excitation range, producing a bright high contrast image with outstanding color correction. A modular six position Epi-Fluorescent illuminator attachment is supplied with a basic blue, green and U excitation cube and three empty positions. Dual illumination systems are standard, 100w mercury reflected light and 30w transmitted halogen with automatic voltage sensing power supply for transmitted light use. A right handed (or left handed must specify) ceramic coated mechanical stage,191mm x 128mm with low positioned ergonomic controls is included. The Abbe condenser 1.25 N.A. is on a quick change dove tail mount which makes switching fast and easy. A large assortment of accessories are available including a tilting ergonomic binocular head, additional optics, condensers, and components for brightfield, phase contrast, polarized light, darkfield applications and all types of digital imaging, photo and video capabilities. Note: The basic blue and green filter sets are designed primarily for viewing the fluoresence of a single fluorochrome. Both filter sets contain longpass emission filters which cannot exclude the fluorescence of a second fluorchrome which also may be excited. The basic green filter set is recommended for use with mercury lamps only. Additional filter sets may be purchased. Write Review
