This high tech digital microscope combines quality (2.3 Million Pixels) and portability (weighs only 500 grams) in one sleek design and package. The touch & view technology allows for immediate capture on site. Data is recorded on a CF card and may be transfered to a computer for graphic enhancement.

This model features an expanded and newly designed 3.5" poly-silicon TFT liquid crystal monitor that has a video output capable of 30 frames per second. Magnification is clearly displayed on the monitor by scale and calibration (in microns)and can be recorded on the image for future documentation. The preview mode allows for viewing prior to saving to the CF card. Touch & view technology allows one to press the microscope against the subject for an immediate view and capture on the screen. A 2x zoom button is standard to check for proper focus and to view more detail. With the interchangeable standard or high resolution lenses magnification of 30x, 50x, 100x, 200x, 500x and 1000x can be achieved. In addition zoom lenses of 0-30x, 25-200x and 0-200x are available. The high resolution lenses are encased in metal, and provide, greater clarity, more durablity, and ease of use over the standard optics.

The DG-3 is ideal for industrial inspection, forensic evaluation, medical, agricultural and specialty use. For forensic use, a collar is used so that the lenses will not have to touch the subject. It has been even used by NASA to examine space shuttle edges. Featuring 2,300,000 pixels it provides sharp, clear images for IC and PC board imaging. In medical use it makes a great optical stethoscope and can image the exact location of a lesion. For agricultural applications it can aid in the counting of agricultural pests. You can go virtually anywhere with an array of magnifying options and optional stands.

The DG-3 kit comes equipped with a durable case to protect the main camera and its core accessories. Included is a C mount adapter (for mounting on a microscope), PCMCIA adapter, rechargeable battery, 256MB memory card (CF), battery charger and DC cables for AC adapter function. Lenses must be ordered separatley.
