This microscope is specifically designed for identification and analysis of metals & alloys. It features a pair of W.F. 10x eyepieces with an 18mm field of view. The microscope comes with a Siedentopf trinocular head that is inclined 30°, rotatable 360°, with a 55 - 75mm diopter adjustment range. Included is either a photo or CCTV tube. The optics are DIN standard ,Plan, parfocal, parcentered objectives, 5x, 10x, 20x and 40x objectives . An extra large double-plate graduated mechanical stage 150mm 200mm with vernier scales provides excellent specimen location (travel area 30mm x 30mm). Illumination is centerable Koehler 6 volt 30 watt halogen illumination system with blue, green and yellow filters included. The stand is ergonomically designed, very durable, made of cast alloy aluminum with an acid resistant almond finish. The system is ideal for studying metallography, heat treatment and metal physics.
